Description
Juniper berries* are widely used in the distillation of gin, where they provide a distinctive sharp pine-like and slightly bitter flavor. They are often considered the main flavor component of gin, as they are responsible for its signature taste. In addition to gin, juniper berries are also used in the production of other spirits and liqueurs, such as Genever, a traditional Dutch gin-like spirit.
We recommend either putting the distilling fruit/botanicals straight into the boiler (for a more robust flavor) or packing them into the top of the still column (for a more delicate flavoring).
