Mountain Man –
So like everyone’s India or Chinese Made Milk Can’s the tank is seamless (except for the 2” port at the bottom) making it darn near impossible for the unit to leak. A couple nice things to know are that the bottom of the tank is 1” taller than the base – meaning the unit should be safe to sit on your counters if you are using an electric heating element (Mountain Man excepts no responsibility if you melt your wife’s counter top – that shits on you – so test it out before she throws you out!) The second nice thing is that the 2” port on the side is actually at the bottom of the boiler tank, making it easy to fully drain without having to tip the can completely over.
My only suggestion is that I would love to see an option for a spout or extra 2" port at the bottom so hot liquid could be drained after a usage.
