Description
K1V-1116 Lalvin Yeast is a vigorously fermenting, dominant wine strain that will overcome wild yeast, and ferment well in a mash that is low in nutrients, which makes it great for distilling purposes. We love adding this saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast to a malted barley wort for a super clean whiskey.
As always, when any beer or wine yeast is used in a sugar mash, we recommend adding yeast nutrient to it.
