Familiar, yet entirely it’s own, dried angelica root is an integral part of gin aromatics.

As with many of the herbs used by ancient cultures, legend surrounds the plant. Specifically, perhaps Angelica Archangelica was given to humanity as a medicine by the archangel Michael.
